In 2022, dividends of 1.75 pence per ordinary share and 1.75 pence per preference share were paid as an interim payment during the year. This represented a decrease of 50 percent for ordinary shareholders over the previous year and a yield of approximately 9 percent on the ordinary share price averaged over a period of 12 months. It is company intention to pay an interim dividend this year as close as possible in amount and on a similar timetable to the dividend paid in 2021, as and when the profitable sales of investments permit.
