Dividend policy
The Company pays dividends on a quarterly basis with dividends typically declared in respect of the quarterly periods ending March, June, September and December and paid in June, September, December and March respectively. Dividends on ordinary shares shall be declared and paid in Sterling. The Company may, where the Directors consider it appropriate, use the special distributable reserve created by the cancellation of its share premium account to pay dividends. The Company currently targets quarterly dividends totalling 5.38 pence per share in respect of the 12 months ending 31 December 2023.
