A special savings account for children with tax benefits (JISA for short). You can use JISAs to put money aside for your children and you can choose whether to save in cash or use investment companies or other investments.

The account is in the child's name and they can take control of it when they reach the age of 16. When they are 18, they can withdraw the money.
