Hardman Talks: Equity income & AIC dividend heroes

In this Hardman Talks, Keith Hiscock and Riccardo Bindi are joined by Annabel Brodie-Smith, Communications Director of the AIC.

The three talk about using investment companies to generate equity income and the work the AIC has published on what it calls “dividend heroes”. The AIC dividend heroes are the investment companies that have consistently increased their dividends for 20 or more years in a row.

They also look at the differences between closed-end and open-ended funds, particularly with regard to paying out income.
