This guide aims to provide investment company boards with sufficient knowledge and confidence to help them obtain a Directors’ and Officers’ (“D&O”) policy that best reflects their needs and expectations. It explains common terms, sets out who and what should, and should not, be covered, describes the impact of general conditions attached to the policy and discusses the factors in determining an appropriate level of cover.
