Appointment of Director
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Padmesh Shukla as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 20 February 2024. Padmesh is the CIO of the TFL Pension Fund, and has over 25 years of investment experience, including 12 years in his current role at TFL. He was formerly head of Climate Change Financing at the London Development Agency, and prior to that he had worked at the World Bank, as a Researcher at Harvard and in real estate. He is currently a member of the Church of England Pensions Investment Committee.
At 29 November 2023, Mr Shukla had no beneficial interest in the shares of the Company.
There is no other information in respect of Mr Shukla required to be disclosed under section 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
Lord Macpherson of Earl's Court, Chairman, commented: "We are delighted that Padmesh has agreed to join the Board and are confident that his knowledge and abilities will be of great benefit to SAINTS in the years ahead."
The appointment of Mr Shukla falls to be ratified by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2024.
