January 2024 Share Conversion
The Company announces the conversion of a number of Euro Shares into Sterling Shares (the "Conversion").
On the basis of the net asset values of the Company's Sterling and Euro shares as at 31 December 2023 (using spot currency exchange rates as at 31 December 2023), the current conversion ratio, in accordance with the Company's articles of association, is:
0.783739 Sterling Shares per Euro Share; and
1.275869 Euro Shares per Sterling Share.
The Company received eligible conversion notices from shareholders in respect of 723,284 Euro Shares and 4,687 Sterling Shares by the relevant closing date.
Accordingly, an application has been made for the admission of 566,866 Sterling Shares and 5,980 Euro Shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange plc. It is expected that such application will become effective and that dealings in the new Sterling Shares will commence 31 January 2024. The revised number of total voting rights in the Company as adjusted for the Conversion will be announced shortly thereafter.
