Publication of Prospectus

The Board of Baillie Gifford US Growth Trust plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce the publication of a prospectus (the "Prospectus") in relation to a placing programme of up to 250 million new Ordinary Shares ("Placing Shares") in the capital of the Company (the "Placing Programme").

The Placing Programme is flexible and may have a number of closing dates in order to provide the Company with the ability to issue Placing Shares on appropriate occasions over a period time.

The Placing Programme is intended to satisfy market demand for the Company's shares and to raise further money for investment in accordance with the Company's investment policy.

The Placing Programme will conclude either on 31 March 2022 or when 250 million Placing Shares have been issued pursuant to the programme. There is no guarantee that the final number of Placing Shares issued will be 250 million.

The prospectus relates not only to the issue of the Placing Shares but also sets out information relating to the 54.38 million shares issued by way of tap issue between 2 April 2020 and the date of the Prospectus.

The Prospectus will shortly be available from the Company's website (www.bgusgrowthtrust.com) and on the National Storage Mechanism at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.
