Benchmark Index

The Board of JPMorgan Japan Small Cap Growth & Income plc announces that effective from today, 1st April 2021, the Company's benchmark index has changed from S&P Japan SmallCap Net Return Index (in sterling terms) to MSCI Japan Small Cap Index (in sterling terms).

As previously announced on 16th December 2020 with the Half Year results, the Board took this decision following a review of the composition of relevant indices. This change reflects the Board's view that the new benchmark is an index which has similar long term performance but is more widely recognised.
