Alex Denny
Alex joined the Board in 2022.
He is currently Non-Executive Director of Aurora UK Alpha Plc and previously of Apax Global Alpha. He is an experienced non-executive director and financial services specialist with a career spanning over two decades in investment trusts, private wealth, and alternative assets. During his executive career, Alex held senior leadership roles at Fidelity International, where he led the development and expansion of their investment trust business, and latterly at Pantheon Ventures, where he was Head of European Private Wealth. His expertise lies at the intersection of retail wealth distribution, closed-ended fund governance, and the democratization of private markets.
Alongside his roles with the AIC and Aurora, Alex is a Non-Executive Director of Margetts Fund Management. Passionate about marine conservation and heritage, he also serves as a trustee for the Nautical Archaeology Society and is a council member of the British Sub-Aqua Club.
