Winner of AIC Shareholder Engagement Award to be announced in September

“Biggest platforms in sector” leading on shareholder engagement – lang cat.

Now in its third year, the Shareholder Engagement Award from the Association of Investment Companies (AIC) recognises the investment platform that has done the most to help shareholders engage with their investment companies. This includes facilitating shareholder voting and AGM attendance.

The judging process, which is conducted by platform experts the lang cat, has now begun, with the winner to be announced in September.

Annabel Brodie-Smith, Communications Director of the Association of Investment Companies (AIC), said: “It’s vital that investors in investment companies are able to exercise their rights as shareholders, whether that’s attending AGMs, voting or taking part in corporate actions.

“Platforms have done so much to make it easy to invest in investment companies, and they are increasingly making it easier for their customers to exercise these important rights as well.”
