If you weren’t a fund manager, what job would you do?

I would have liked to have been the Finance Minister of France because I like a massive challenge, especially when it requires perseverance – like climbing Mont Blanc!

What was the proudest moment of your career?

Accepting the Investment Week Investment Company of the Year Award for Ecofin Global Utilities and Infrastructure in recognition for all the hard work the team put in.

What was the most difficult moment of your career and why?

When Trump won the election in November 2016 and Ecofin Global Utilities and Infrastructure had just listed on the stock exchange. Energy transition and decarbonisation issues were contrary to his views.

What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?

Relax a lot more with the family and avoid spending those long evening hours in the office.
