The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) has announced the winners of the AIC Media Awards 2021. The awards recognise the journalists who have best educated private investors and financial advisers about investment companies. They are voted for by AIC members, their managers, brokers and analysts.

  • Best Freelance Journalist: Cherry Reynard
  • Best Financial Consumer Journalist: Mary McDougall, Investors’ Chronicle
  • Best Scottish Journalist: Ian McConnell, The Herald
  • Best Online Journalist: Gavin Lumsden, Citywire
  • Best Broadcast Journalist: Holly Mead, Morningstar
  • Best VCT Journalist: Richard Evans, The Daily Telegraph
  • Best Use of Social Media for Investment Companies: Gavin Lumsden, Citywire
