VPC Specialty Lending Investments PLC (the "Company")

Appointment of Audit and Valuation Committee Chair

The Board  is pleased to announce that Mr. Oliver Grundy has been appointed as an independent non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 12 March 2021. Following publication of the Company's annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2020, he will succeed Mr. Clive Peggram as Chair of the Audit and Valuation Committee. Mr. Peggram will remain on the Board as an independent  non-executive Director. Given Mr. Kevin Ingram's impending retirement, the Board determined that it was appropriate to recruit a qualified accountant with knowledge of the financial services sector and of credit.

Mr. Grundy was an audit partner of Deloitte, LLP for 28 years until his retirement in November 2019. He worked both in London and New York in various roles, including leading Deloitte's Banking Group which comprised a team of 35 partners and 500 professionals. Subsequently he became the audit and advisory partner to significant funds. From 2017 to 2019 he was the Deloitte UK ethics partner, with responsibility for all whistleblowing and conduct matters as well as the firm's Public Interest Review Group.

During his Deloitte career he also had a number of roles at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW), including being a Council member, a Disciplinary Committee Tribunal Chairman and serving on the Practice, Risk & Regulation and the Ethics Standards Committees. He is currently a member of the Red Cross International Medical Fundraising Board.

Kevin Ingram, Chairman of the Company, said:

"We are delighted Oliver is joining the Board. He brings valuable expertise from the many years he spent in charge of the audits of numerous financial institutions and funds, as well as deep knowledge of complex accounting and disclosure requirements. He also has extensive experience of a wide range of  governance matters from his roles at Deloitte and the ICAEW. The Board is grateful to Clive for his service as Chair of the Audit and Valuations Committee and pleased that he will continue to make a contribution as an independent non-executive director."

Mr. Grundy does not have any interest in the ordinary shares of the Company.

There are no further details or disclosures required under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Mr. Grundy.
