The Company announces the allotment of 100,000 ordinary shares of 5p each ("ordinary shares") fully paid out of the Treasury Account. These shares were issued for cash on 4 May 2021 at a price of 161.90p per share, which equates to a premium to the estimated cum income net asset value at the time of the transaction of 1.23%.

 

The cum income net asset value per ordinary share at the close of business on 30 April 2021 was 160.35p per share.

 

The new shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

 

·    Number of ordinary shares in issue - 202,775,000

·    Ordinary shares remaining in Company's Treasury Account - 31,925,000

·    Ordinary shares remaining in Company's block listing - 2,100,000

·    Ordinary shares remaining under shareholder allotment authority - 16,195,000

·    Total Voting Rights attaching to Ordinary Shares in issue - 170,850,000

·    The above figure of 170,850,000 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
