The Board of JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Macdonald as a non-executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.

 

Lucy Macdonald has over 30 years experience in the asset management industry, most recently as CIO Global Equities at Allianz Global Investors. She was also Lead Portfolio Manager of Brunner Investment Trust, a global income and growth trust from 2016 until May 2020. She is on the CFA UK investor panel.

 

 

Commenting on the appointment Sarah Fromson stated:

 

'I am delighted to welcome Lucy to the Board and look forward, with my Board colleagues, to the insights and contributions that she will bring to the Board's discussions'.

 

Ms Macdonald is a director of IBIS Media VCT plc (in liquidation).

 

Ms Macdonald has interests in 31,300 Ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the capital of the Company. 

 

There is no further information to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R (2) to (6) for Ms Macdonald.
