Notice of General Meeting
The Board of Directors (the 'Board') of the Company announces that it has today posted a circular to shareholders ('the Circular') containing notice that a General Meeting of the Company will be held on 14 June 2021 at 9.30 a.m. (the "General Meeting") at the offices of Jupiter Asset Management Limited, The Zig Zag Building, 70 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6SQ.
In order to meet the expected continuing demand for the Company's shares, the Board is proposing to seek shareholder authority at the General Meeting to issue further ordinary shares on a non pre-emptive basis prior to the Company's next annual general meeting later this year.
The Board continues to monitor the UK Government's advice in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic and in particular public gatherings. It is expected that the current legal restrictions on public gatherings will still be in force on 14 June 2021 when the General Meeting will be taking place. The Board believes that all shareholders will wish to comply with these guidelines and therefore shareholders will not be permitted to attend the General Meeting in person. The Company encourages shareholders to appoint the Chairman as their proxy with their voting instructions.
A copy of the Circular will shortly be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will soon be available for inspection at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism
