QuotedData’s morning briefing 29 April 2025 – HVPE, SDV/SDVP, NRR

In QuotedData’s morning briefing 29 April 2025:

  • HarbourVest Global Private Equity (HVPE) has confirmed that it will soon enter a closed period ahead of publishing its annual report for the year ended 31 January 2025. The report is expected on or after 29 May 2025. In preparation for this, HVPE has given its broker, Winterflood Securities, the authority to repurchase ordinary shares in the market during the closed period on its behalf. The mandate is both irrevocable and non-discretionary, meaning all buybacks during the closed period will be carried out entirely at Winterflood’s discretion and within pre-agreed parameters. Any shares bought back will be cancelled.
  • Chelverton UK Dividend’s (SDV’s) wholly-owned subsidiary SDV 2025 ZDP Plc (a special purpose vehicle (SPV) created to issue zero dividend preference shares (ZDPs) for SDV) has entered members’ voluntary liquidation following the approval of Resolution 2 at its General Meeting held on 28 April 2025. This was anticipated following SDV’s announcement on 24 April that it would not be proceeding with its 2031 ZDP issue (click here to read more). Joyce Thomson and Nicholas Timpson of Interpath Ltd have been appointed as joint liquidators to oversee the winding-up process. The listing for SDV’s 2025 ZDP shares (SDVP) is expected to be cancelled at 8am on 30 April 2025.
  • In a trading update ahead of annual results, NewRiver REIT (NRR) said that it expects EPRA net tangible assets (NTA) at 31 March 2025 to be in line with analyst consensus of 103p per share (below the 106p at September 2024). Its portfolio was valued at £897m (an increase from £540m at September 2024 due to the acquisition of Capital & Regional and a 0.6% valuation uplift). NRR is due to publish full year results in June.
