Morning briefing: River UK Micro sees 22% of votes against director Tremlett; plus BMD, UAV

River UK Micro Cap (RMMC) saw 21.7% of votes cast against the re-election of Serena Tremlett at its annual general meeting. Tremlett, a founder of Morgan Sharpe Administration, joined the board as a non-executive director two years ago. Just over 22% of votes were also opposed to increasing the limit on the aggregate of shares issued in a financial year. RMMC said it would report back after contacting those shareholders who voted against these resolutions to better understand their views.

Baronsmead Second Venture Trust (BMD) has received over £12m under the company’s initial £15m offer and so is likely to use an over-allotment facility to raise a further £10m.

Unicorn AIM VCT (UAV) has received subscriptions for 90% of its £20m initial offer and will use an over-allotment facility to raise up to a further £15m.
